The Association of Texas Professional Educators, seeks an experienced, energetic individual for our Office Administrator position. The Office Administrator is responsible for supportive services of the organization including managing and maintaining office equipment and supplies; budgeting for office management/facilities/fixed assets; oversight of the day-to-day general office operations; and, provides some support to the human resources and benefits area. Additionally, this position is responsible for our permanent file management, facilities management, the safety program and manages the receptionist area.
This position requires an experienced office manager (3 years+) with exceptional organization and planning skills; strong verbal/written communication skills; strong negotiation skills; knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Power Point with advanced knowledge of Excel; excellent customer service skills; ability to take initiative and multi-task; strong leadership skills; and, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build great working relationships with vendors, association members, staff, etc. The ideal candidate will have completed some college course work and have some accounting background or familiarity with accounting principles.
