Happy Teacher Appreciation Week, ATPE members!

Your efforts during this time have been nothing short of extraordinary. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, you’ve adapted your lessons and teaching styles to the times, you’ve kept your students learning, and you did it from home!

Some of you may have home offices to work from. Some of you may be working off your couch or your kitchen tables. But you’re still working because #TeachersCan do anything they set their mind to for their students.

That’s why this Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating all you do with our Work from Home Classroom Makeover Contest.

Since May 1, we’ve been asking you to submit photos of your “home classroom” setup. These can be your home office, your kitchen table and laptop, or couch. We want to see where and how you’re working, and we want to help get you the setup that you deserve!

On May 6, the submitted photos will be gathered into an album and posted on the ATPE Facebook (facebook.com/officialATPE) to be voted upon—through likes or other reactions—by your fellow ATPE members and community. The album and voting will remain up through May 13; winners will be announced on May 15.

Thank you to all educators who are transitioning to the unique needs of students during this time! #TeachersCan
