Leadership ATPE Deadline Extended to May 24

If applying for Leadership ATPE has been on your to-do list but you just haven’t gotten around to it yet, now is the time to check it off your list! The deadline to apply for Leadership ATPE has been extended to May 24, but spots are filling up fast. Apply now!

If you’re ready to expand your leadership skills, and if you have big plans for your career and want the tools to achieve those plans, then Leadership ATPE is for you.

Leadership ATPE launched in 2018 and offers professional development, leadership training, and networking opportunities for an elite group of education professionals chosen from within ATPE’s membership ranks.

Participants attend two expense-paid weekend training retreats and network with their colleagues for digital learning opportunities throughout the year. Training sessions focus on the skills that emerging leaders need to best serve their schools and communities, including public speaking and presentation skills, volunteer recruitment, advocacy, and more.

Leadership ATPE offers a focused learning experience and requires a strong commitment from participants. In addition to completing the online form, applicants will need to obtain two references and must commit to attending the mandatory fall and spring retreats at the beautiful Horseshoe Bay Resort (Nov. 1–3, 2019, and March 6–8, 2020). No more than 20 ATPE members will be selected to join the elite Leadership ATPE class of 2019-20.

The next round of selections for Leadership ATPE closes May 24. The new class will be announced this summer. Get all the details at atpe.org/leadership-ATPE.
