Ready to Lead Your Association?

Whether you drive a bus or teach in the classroom, you’re already a leader to your students. ATPE knows that many educators are looking for ways to expand their leadership skills and has plenty of opportunities for educators to do just that! ATPE is now accepting nominations for state officer positions. Candidates must be professional, administrator, associate, or retired members of the association who have served in a local unit, region, or state officer role within the past five years.

ATPE’s state officers are members just like you. So if you think you’ve got what it takes to lead our members—the most respected group of education professionals in the state—then we want to hear from you.

Contact staff liaison Bret Messer at to find out more about qualifications and how to run for office. We’ll see you at the House of Delegates in July for the election!
