Rep for the best by becoming an ATPE campus representative! Chances are you’re already doing some of the tasks a campus rep does, so why not make it official? If you find yourself already sharing the benefits of being an ATPE member with colleagues, then this is the role for you!
Being a campus rep allows you to be a visible leader on your campus and helps us expand the community of ATPE. You also get to serve as the voice of our association on your school campus!
We often say ATPE is the biggest and the best, and that’s because of our local leaders like campus reps! Having the largest number of members means your voice carries extra weight and that the difference you make is that much greater—both in the classroom with your students and outside the classroom with your peers, in your district, and in your community.
It also means that ATPE as an entity is able to provide you superior benefits, simply because our volunteers work hard to recruit and retain members.
ATPE has members on almost every campus in the state, and we’re looking for more volunteers who are ready to lead. We’ll provide the training, resources, and networks to ensure you can truly make a difference in the lives of Texas educators and students. You can be a campus rep whether your district has a local unit or not. You simply spread the word about ATPE and collect membership applications.
Getting started as an ATPE volunteer is easy. Simply contact Anna Belle Burleson, ATPE’s volunteer program coordinator, at email@example.com to learn about opportunities in your district.
We couldn't do what we do without your help! It’s a great time to volunteer for the state's largest educator group—ATPE!
