ATPE Professional Learning Portal

NOTICE: ATPE will be launching a new Professional Learning Portal in the coming weeks. We will migrate all education data for courses completed through Jan. 20. Please retain records of any courses you complete after that time so you can enter them into the new system upon launch. Stay tuned for further details!

We recommend using the Google Chrome browser to access the ATPE Professional Learning Portal.

The ATPE Professional Learning Portal (powered by WCEA) is a learning management system that provides educators with access to a variety of engaging content including online courses and webinars they can take or view to earn continuing professional education (CPE) credit.

SXSW EDU 2024

Earn CPE credit online, on your own schedule, using this learning management system. ATPE is registered with the State Board for Educator Certification as an approved provider of CPE.

You can also track your CPE hours and certificates through the portal, making it easy to log both ATPE- and non-ATPE-provided CPE experiences. All your records will be in one place when it’s time to renew your certificate.

Click here for instructions on how to claim CPE credit for live events.

Educator Certification in Texas

Texas educators holding a standard certificate must renew their certificates every five years. To renew a standard certificate, classroom teachers must have completed 150 hours of continuing professional education (CPE), and administrative and/or student services certificate holders must complete 200 hours. It can be challenging to meet those requirements, which is why ATPE membership includes access to the ATPE Professional Learning (PL) Portal.
