The TEA recently announced that 44 new schools have been granted early college high school status for the 2015-16 school year.

Early college high schools are non-traditional high schools that allow students to earn both a college degree alongside their high school diplomas, at no cost to the student. These new designations bring the total number of early college high schools across the state up to 154.
