Connect with the ATPE lobby team on Twitter
ATPE lobbyists lead fast-paced lives—particularly during a legislative session. The Teach the Vote blog is a great place to find timely updates or announcements on education news, but where do you turn when you want “live” or “breaking” news? The ATPE lobbyist Twitter feeds, of course.
We’re proud to announce that several members of the ATPE Governmental Relations team now have official Twitter accounts on which they’ll be posting education-related news, live updates from meetings or hearings, and more. Follow them at:
@ATPE_BrockG—ATPE Governmental Relations Director Brock Gregg. Follow Brock for general ATPE, education and advocacy updates.
@ATPE_JenniferC—ATPE Governmental Relations Manager Jennifer Canaday. Follow Jennifer for political news and tweets on teacher-related topics such as certification and appraisal.
@ATPE_JoshS—ATPE Lobbyist Josh Sanderson. Follow Josh for information about retirement, compensation and school finance.
@ATPE_MontyE—ATPE Lobbyist Monty Exter. Follow Monty for dispatches from the State Board of Education, and developments in areas such as curriculum, testing and privatization.
@ATPE_KateK—ATPE Lobbyist Kate Kuhlmann. Follow Kate for updates on federal issues and information about how the happenings in Washington, D.C. can affect Texas public education.
