Customized curriculum
ATPE members now have access to a new way of creating and sharing lesson plans online. SeaClass LPTM allows users to create lessons based on curriculum standards customized for each grade level and content area. The program makes it easy for educators to store and share professional lesson plans that are easy to print or send to administrators.
The skills of the future
The latest in ATPE’s online catalog of continuing professional education (CPE) courses, 21st Century Skills is designed to help you promote creativity and innovation in the classroom. This members-only course is worth 1 hour of CPE and is applicable to classroom teachers, administrators and para-educators.
Don’t forget
A variety of services, discounts and programs are available to ATPE members, from auto insurance and hotel discounts to TAKS resources, the ATPE Book of the Month Club, the ATPE Idea Exchange and more.
A helping hand
ATPE has partnered with the Texas A&M University System to offer a free online mentoring program to members who are in their first three years of teaching. The Performance-based Academic Coaching Team (PACT) System gives novice teacher members access to confidential and quick one-on-one help from e-mentors as well as access to chats, discussion boards and teaching tools.
