SBEC Certificate Renewal Requirements and Worksheets

Educators certified by SBEC under the renewable certificate program can find helpful information about renewal requirements by clicking on your job related link below. The renewal requirement of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is 150 clock hours for classroom teachers, and 200 clock hours for educators who hold professional certificate(s). Educational Aides are not required to complete CPE clock hours.

  4. English as a Second Language Generalist: Early Childhood – Grade 4
  5. Generalist: Early Childhood – Grade 4
  6. Secondary French Grades 6-12
  7. Secondary German Grades 6-12
  8. Secondary Spanish Grades 6-12
