2009-10 ATPE Alafair Hammett Media Award
Prior year award recipients
This award, named for ATPE’s first
state president, is presented to two newspapers each
year for outstanding support and coverage of public
education issues. Category One includes newspapers
with an average circulation of 15,000 readers or less
and Category Two includes newspapers with an average
circulation of more than 15,000 readers. ATPE staff
members select five finalists in each of the two
categories; the Public Information Committee
selects the recipients. No application required. |
