2012-13 ATPE Alafair Hammett Media Award
Prior year award recipients
This award, named for ATPE’s first
state president, is presented to three education reporters each
year for outstanding support and coverage of public
education issues. Category One includes newspapers
with an average circulation of 25,000 or less readers,
Category Two includes newspapers with an average
circulation of more than 25,000-50,000 readers, and Category Three includes newspapers with an average circulation of more than 50,000. ATPE staff
members select five finalists in each of the three
categories; the Public Information Committee
selects the recipients. No application required. |
