Discuss classroom challenges, get tips and ask questions of your peers on the ATPE Idea Exchange, an online forum devoted to bringing educators together. Please note: Educators are not required to be ATPE members to participate.
The Idea Exchange is a place to search for lesson plan ideas, get updates on upcoming state events and participate in the ATPE Book Circle, an online book discussion group that can earn you 9 hours of continuing professional education (CPE) credit.
Members who participate in the third installment of the ATPE Book Circle will study and discuss There Are No Shortcuts by Rafe Esquith and earn 9 hours of CPE credit upon program completion. The program began Sept. 1, but there’s still time to join in. A discussion question over the week’s assigned reading will be posted each Friday.
Moderators from the ATPE state office can also be found on the forum, offering bits of interesting information or directing members to educational websites.
The Idea Exchange is a tool that relies on member participation to become great—the forum’s success depends on members coming together to form a community of educators. Join the ATPE Idea Exchange today at www.websitetoolbox.com/mb/atpe.
