The ATPE Foundation’s Regional Teacher of the Year Gathering

In keeping with its mission to advance public education through educator recruitment and retention efforts, the ATPE Foundation hosted 24 of the 40 Texas Regional Teachers of the Year at a gathering June 3–5 at the Westin Austin at The Domain. The foundation’s goal was to compile focus group information that could be used by school districts, education organizations, state agencies and legislators as they work to improve public education. An online report of the findings from the focus groups will be available in late July at www.atpefoundation.org.
