Make a donation to ATPE-PAC by May 1

May 1 is the deadline for the 2012 PAC’s Peak Challenge, the goal of which is to raise $12,000 for the ATPE Political Action Committee (ATPE-PAC). ATPE-PAC makes donations on a nonpartisan basis to candidates and officeholders who have demonstrated support for public education and ATPE’s philosophy. During the inaugural year of the PAC’s Peak Challenge, the goal of $10,000 was met and surpassed. This helped make 2011 a banner year for ATPE-PAC fundraising. With your help, we can—and will—do even better in 2012!

The members and local units contributing the most will receive special recognition in ATPE publications and at the 2012 ATPE Summit in July.

May 1 is also the deadline to donate for the 2012 Stephen F. Austin and William B. Travis award programs and the Davy Crockett Fundraising Challenge.
